Passion for the Drive – Jim Taylor’s Car Auction

Broad Arrow Group came to Gloversville, NY in October 2022 to host a two day auction of Jim Taylor’s classic car collection. TVI provided A/V support for the week long event, including two full days of auction madness with hundreds of memorabilia pieces and 130 vehicles. The most important aspect of the audio visual setup was allowing attendees to see and hear the action all day, no matter where they were standing. TVI provided all of the audio, video, lighting, and power to make this a reality. Here is a complete list of what we were able to provide:

• Two 12ft rear projection screens 
• Twelve television screens spread around the venue
• Fourteen speaker sound system that covered the entire 30,000 square foot warehouse and outdoor tent
• Handheld and headset microphones for the auctioneers
• Stage lighting rigged from the warehouse beams
• Up lighting and extra wash lighting in the tent
• 60,000 watts of generator power distributed to all areas
• Three large truss structures wrapped in vinyl and spandex branding
• Drape rooms and barriers for staff offices and phone bank
